As part of World Responsible Tourism Day author Sue Guiney was invited on BBC Radio 4 to talk about her experiences visiting Cambodia and her work with Anjali House establishing the ongoing Creative Writing programme.  The radio piece came as Anjali was invited to attend the World Responsible Tourism event in Siem Reap hosted by the Soria Moria Hotel, highlighting the progressive policies of the hotel in responsible tourism practice, The hotel is a key element of the training programme for students of the Young Adult Programme. At the main event in London Anjali House was represented by Michael Horton founder of the organisation ‘ConCERT’ (Connecting communities, environment and responsible tourism) winner of last years responsible tourism award. Through partnership with organisations such as ‘ConCERT’ we are able to stay at the forefront of debate on responsible tourism and how it can be applied locally.
